Our teams are currently working in the Main-Kinzig district and across the entire Rhön, in both the Hessian and the Thuringian Rhön. In total, we look after around 13,000 hectares of forest.
Bark beetle monitoring and drone-based crown surveillance are currently running in 168 areas. In several of them, our detection dogs additionally check suspect areas on the ground.
In the Alps we monitor ongoing sites with camera traps. On the Rhine, Main and Danube we take samples for contaminant analyses, which are carried out by our accredited partner laboratories.
